Stage 1- Dropping of the egg shell seedlings

Seed bombs, seed pills , balloons filled with seeds or egg shell seedlings.

There are all these radical designs of how to get your seeds around but I thought to myself, look getting ingredients for the seed bomb and the space to get messy was not appealing, seed pills needed empty capsules ,balloons needed to be biodegradable and blown with halogen but egg shell seedings. Now that was easy and convenient to do.

So , breaking the top of the shell and filling it with potting mix and some seeds. (The ones I wanted rosemary was $4 each...WHAT THE HELL!!!..sorry but I find that expensive compared to the rest of the options they had , it was $1.50 for 1000 seeds for parsley)  Then I went on a little excursion and drop them when I thought it would be good spot to grow. Together with a marker to remind me where I planted it and with the words "Watch Me Grow"with this blog's link I hope would get somebody out there interested to know what is happening.

For fun just crushed it, maybe it will help sow the seeds better??

One of the places I had planted the egg shell seedlings, it was a new park I had not notice. So quaint and cute, thought it would be ideal if herbs were grown around the sides where locals could hang and grab some herbs for dinner.

I did initially felt stupid or felt eyes watching me as if I was a lurking suspect, don't know why, but I feel maybe being society was judging me. Yeah some people were around, but the more I concentrated in planting and taking pictures , it kind of ... went away. Soon I was concentrating more, looking for more viable spots .. surprised at little alleyways where new parks were, or how rich the soil was in little street sides and other beautiful flowers growing around. Makes me wonder why I never took notice.

Spotted this beautiful flower growing around a tree.

So whilst I was doing all this, it came to my mind that the soil quality of where some trees were planted by the street was ... looking quite barren, dry and sandy.... or that stepping stones had been placed leaving no room for additional plants to grow and rubbish were dumped.

In Singapore they have a heavy penalty for rubbish not thrown in the bin, the fine is in the 4 digit mark and with community work
Just thought it could have invited tinier prettier plants around it. Looks like a mini desert.

Mostly sandy,by the way, couldn't the gardeners who planted this take the white bucket away before they planted it?? looks ugly

Small gravel were place around the plants, didn't seem like a great spot for my egg shell seedlings, although I DID notice this street verge planting wasn't here before. Ummm local council liking the street verge planting too...(that's great news)

This made me smile. By the way, not encouraging graffiti nor was this made by me.

One other thing I would like to add is that these ideas had germinated by the brilliant mind of others, I will provide links. All the photos posted are my own or otherwise stated and referenced. Being new to blogging I just want to make sure that I don't offend others who have been original authors of their works, so thanks to them for spreading this information around.
